A big hello from Miss Hindsons class back at Brookburn. We have been learning about and writing a lot of poems lately in our literacy lessons. We have made an acrostic poem about our school.
B is for Billy. He is our class bear.
R is for red. The colour of our uniform.
O is for oranges. Our favourite fruit.
O is for outside. We have a new outdoor classroom.
K is for kind. All the teachers are kind to us.
B is for Brookies! They help us in the playground
U is for unique. There is no other school quite like us.
R is for running. We have lots of space to run and play.
N is for nice. Our school is a nice place to learn.
We would like to challenge you today to make an acrostic poem for your school so that we can find out what is special and unique about you. Have fun!!
